Bintan Island Escapade

It was their birthday and I want it to be a memorable one so I planned a short 2D-1N trip to Bintan Island through http://www.holidaybagus.com/. I had a hard time convincing hubby because he doesn't like the idea of travelling by water but I used my charms so off we went. Bintan Island is just a 45-minute ferry ride from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal.

We arrived at the ferry terminal early so we took the chance to take photos to kill the time while waiting to board.

My girl at the boarding gate. Is it too obvious how excited she was? :D

Finally, we are on our way to board the ferry!

 And we're ready to go!!!

The hubby filling in the immigration slip.

On board the ferry, there's a cute little boy who keeps peeping in my daughter's seat.

When I took my camera and ask if I could take a photo of him, he agreed without hesitation and showed me his angelic face.

Imagine my daughter's delight! She whispered me, "Mommy, I want a baby brother."
"You'll have one in God's time", I replied and she giggled.

It was a pleasant ride, we surprisingly enjoyed it without the foreseen seasick.
Bintan is the largest island in the Riau province, area 1.140 sq. km, with a coastline of about 105 km. It is truly an unique paradise. Simple life, beautiful beach, friendly people which bring us the leisure. The island gives the refreshment to our mind and body. ~ SOURCE
