My group's blog, The Salitype Society has gone a long way! We just turned 3 last month and I would like to dedicate this post to my Salitype sisters who in one way or another, added stunning colours into my life.
I first met Beth, the WANDERwoman, who inspired me to take photographs and intensified my love for nature. If our paths never crossed, I wouldn't be where I am now. Her joys of living a simple (yet extravagant) life is just contagious!
And as they say, the rest is history...
Chay, our sunshine and muse, taught me to embrace and love life each day and enthused me with her fountain of youth and versatility. For me, she's a wonderwoman in every sense of the word. I always wonder how she's able to balance her time with her family, work and studies.
Eng, the photo connoisseur, is currently one of my great inspirations in photography. She is not only poetic literally but figuratively as well. I just can't get enough of her signature artistic prowess!
KC, the globe trotter, is living my wanderlust dream. She has travelled to many parts of the world and she never fails to bring us awe-inspiring travel photos.
MJ, the superMOM, is an epitome of one toughy mommy. She gave up her career to take care of her adorable Princess Teyla and that is one enough reason for me to give her my highest regard. I know it's not easy to be a full-time mom but she is doing such a wonderful job.
Ruthi, the eloquent writer, is a newbie in our group yet we have never regarded her as such. She blended with us smoothly in such a short period of time and have been inspiring us with her passion in writing. Her blogs are are just inspiring!
Tes, the survivor, has immensely touched my life with her Testimonies. For me, she's one of the countless living sign of God's presence. Her craftmanship never fails to amaze me.
And last but not the least...
Zen, the blue healer, whom I never thought was my God-given soul sister. I refused to accept her friend's request before until I found out that she's also a Salitype member and I shall say again, the rest is history.
Need I say more?
Simply stunning and so meaningful. Have a beautiful weekend

ReplyDeletecher, i'm so touched by your kind words about me, and the red bloom you posted to symbolize me:) thank you. it wasn't easy at all for me to give up my job (i will be honest and tell you that i miss it to this day; i miss it everyday), but sometimes, we just gotta do what we gotta do. and teyla is my priority right now. i do appreciate when other mothers recognize the sacrifice i made.
ReplyDeletei love how you picked a different flower to symbolize each Salitype member. love how you have something nice to say about each sister:) it's amazing, isn't it, how each one of us has different personalities and come from different walks of life, and yet here we are, united with one common purpose and goal: to help improve the life of a child back home, and in the process, strengthen our friendship with each other. again, Happy 2nd anniversary, TSS! thanks so much, cher, for this gorgeous post!! hugs to you.
