According to Wikipedia ~ The Singapore Zoo, formerly known as the Singapore Zoological Gardens and commonly known locally as the Mandai Zoo, occupies 28 hectares (0.28 km²) of land on the margins of Upper Seletar Reservoir within Singapore's heavily forested central catchment area. The zoo was built at a cost of S$9m granted by the government of Singapore and opened on 27 June 1973. It is operated by Wildlife Reserves Singapore, who also manage the neighbouring Night Safari and the Jurong BirdPark. There are about 315 species of animal in the zoo, of which some 16% are considered threatened species. The zoo attracts about 1.6 million visitors a year.

There is so much to see and explore...
but this is what appeals to my daughter most when she's done looking at the wide variety of flora and fauna, watching the shows, and devouring at other attractions!
It is where she can ride a pony,
or have a blast at the water play area.
My favourite spot is where the love boats are. I have so much to share about the zoo but I will blog about the animals, shows, and attractions another time. If you wish to have a holistic information, please visit their website @ http://www.zoo.com.sg/. If you can't wait to explore the place, here are the basic informations you might want to know:
