The founder of Mom Bloggers Club, Ms Jennifer James invited me (out of more than 15,000 blogger moms around the world) to be a founding member of Mom Bloggers for Social Good. Here's an excerpt from her email that made me feel so elated:
"I am starting Mom Bloggers for Social Good because I have seen time and time again how the collective voices of moms can tremendously help organizations spread the word about their efforts to help others! I would love for you to become a founding member of Mom Bloggers for Social Good!"
As you all know, Sweet Memoirs is a purpose driven blog. Becoming a founding member of Mom Bloggers for Social Good is another great opportunity for me to bring this blog's purpose to a different level. Thank you so much Jennifer for hand-picking me! I am truly honoured to be a founding member of Mom Bloggers for Social Good.
Mom Bloggers for Social Good is a global coalition of mom bloggers spanning eleven countries – United States, Canada, UK, India, Spain, Nigeria, Singapore, Netherlands, Malaysia, Jamaica, and the Philippines – who care about spreading the good news about the amazing work non-profit organizations and NGOs are doing around the world. When our partners need to reach the masses about new initiatives, advocacy campaigns, or fundraising efforts we will work collectively to spread the word through social media and blogging. ~www.mombloggersforsocialgood.com
