Dubai Desert Safari




My cousin experienced Dubai Desert Safari via Arabian Desert Tours

with a bunch of other tourists.

Highlights of the tour package includes scenic drive across the dunes by 4WD,

camel ride,

henna designs,


shisha water pipe,

and a BBQ dinner whilst watching

a belly dancing show.

FYI: Dune bashing, also known as desert safari, is a form of off-roading, using an off-road vehicle to explore sand dunes. Whilst in some parts of the world, such as the fragile coastal dunes of Australia, it is illegal, in others such as the Middle East, it is a booming attraction for tourists. In the United States, there are a couple of areas as well, most notably the Silver Lake area in Mears, Michigan and portions of the Glamis Dunes in California. ~ Wikipedia

    glad to see your cousin enjoying Dubai Che. love his pictures and his smiles show how much he is enjoying exploring there. the bbq dinner looks so yummy.

    most of our dunes here do not allow off road vehicles and can only be accessed by foot, but some dunes allow off-roading. the glamis sand dunes you mentioned is 2.5 hours away from san diego, there's a part in Glamis that is open for off roading, and a part that is only for foot traffic to protect the wildlife in the dunes. i always find it fun watching the sand vehicles crossing the road, may have to try it one of these days.

    It is a nice way to see Dubai city sky line which you will miss during your Dhow Cruise which is another way to travel in Dubai Creek
