We were at the Mediacorp Baby Fair at Singapore Expo last weekend. After getting what we needed, it was already lunchtime so we headed to the food court. However, it was lunch peak hour so we were not able to get a table. Hubby decided to give us a treat at Macau Express.

Al-fresco dining at Macau Express |
Some patrons had no choice but to take the tables outside because it was full house.

If you are not a fan of Al-fresco, dine indoors. :) |
There was a group of people who are about to leave when we came so we managed to get their table.

The Macau Express creative photo wall. |
I spotted the Ruins of St Paul and part of the Senado Square at the restaurant's wall.

What you see on the table. |
On the lower part of the wall just above our table, you can see Knights in Shining Armor. LOL! Ok, i made that up. Not sure who are those horsemen (haha, what a term!) holding flags and what they got to do with Macau history. I might need to do some research. LOL!

Baked Half Chicken |
Meanwhile, ladies and gentleman! Presenting! The Macau Express signature dish Baked Half Chicken with Rice! The baked succulent fresh spring chicken was served in a rich savoury sauce. It was sooooo goooood. I just wish they left us the choice to add the chili sauce. It kinda destroyed the taste of its original sauce.

Baked Fish Fillet Spaghetti |
Nada! The baked chicken wasn't my order. I just tasted hubby's food. LOL! I had pasta as usual. This baked fish fillet spaghetti was a hit. I also let the hubby had a taste of it since I had some of his food. We called it quits. LOL!

Seafood noodles. |
Ate Kyla had seafood noodles. She loved it.
Anyhow, we left the place with a happy tummy. Hubby said: "I already brought you to Macau. Please stop asking me to do so!" LOL! I've been bugging him to bring me to Macau (the real MACAU) that's why. LOL!
FYI: Macau Express holds the Singapore Gourmet Hunt Finalist Award 2005. Do not forget to try their signature egg tart. Their egg tart is fresh from the oven with crispy flaky skin. Taste of heaven as they claim so. I'm an egg tart fanatic, I wasn't able to take a photo of it because I couldn't wait to eat it. LOL!
