My colleague and I were given a S$400 Paradise Group of Restaurants voucher. We were asked by our lady boss to go and treat our family to any of their restaurants which includes Taste Paradise, Paradise Inn, Paradise Pavilion, Seafood Paradise, Paradise Dynasty, Canton Paradise, Kung Fu Paradise, and One Paradise. We split the voucher into half so we could spend the voucher on separate occasions with our respective families. I chose to spent the voucher at Taste Paradise, Ion (Ion was relatively new at that time but we haven't had the chance to explore the place) on my father's birthday as it happened to fall on a Saturday.
We arrived at the peak of lunchtime hence the long queue. We took the chance to roam around the iconic ION Mall, Orchard.
We waited for more or less half an hour and when it was our turn, we were greeted by the restaurant's dramatic interior. My girl was fascinated with those glowing paper butterflies hanging on the wall.
I didn't get a good photo of the whole place but here's a screen grab from their website.
Hubby and I ordered the Executive Lunch A, a 5-course lunch set that we thought would fit the little girl and mama's taste.

We had dim sum trio as starter
followed by soup of the day. I can't remember what it's called.
This pan-seared fish fillet melts in the mouth. Yum!
For the main, we had sauteed ramen with BBQ honey pork. I love their portions, not too heavy on the stomach.
Lastly, we had chilled pumpkin puree with coconut milk for dessert. We didn't maximized the S$200 voucher hence we still managed to take home some dumplings which were really good. What can I say? Anything free is tasty. :D
