Universal Studios: A Family Favourite

Universal Studios Singapore
Thanks to Universal Studios Singapore (USS), I don't have to book flights to Orlando just to experience the famous theme park. When it opened for a sneak peek on the 14th of February 2010, we were one of the blessed and privileged families to have a first glimpse of the promising and fun-filled park before it officially opened to the public.

Hubby was part of the Resorts World Sentosa team who witnessed the building and construction of USS. According to wikipedia, USS was a key component to Genting's bid for the right to build Singapore's second integrated resort.

Construction of the theme park and the rest of the Resorts World Sentosa started on 19 April 2007. It was one of the hubby's all time favourite project in his entire career. Being located at the heart of Sentosa, he felt like he was on a work and leisure vacation every single day.

USS is the second Universal Studios theme park to open in Asia (Japan being the first) and the first in South East Asia. It has attracted more than two million visitors in the nine months of its opening.

As of the record, we have been entered the premises of Universal Studios Singapore a couple of times in a span of two years. It remains as one of our favourite destination for family fun and recreation. Apart from its proximity (it is practically an earshot away from where we live), it has a special place in our hearts. Whenever we have relatives who either come to pay us a visit or come to experience a Singapore holiday we get to enjoy all year round, we never fail to bring them to USS. We can't wait until Baby Gian is old enough to enjoy the rides and appreciate the main attractions of the park.
