Yesterday, 23rd of July 2012, we had an intimate Mickey Mouse Party to celebrate Baby Gian's 1st Birthday. We invited no one to savour the special moment by ourselves. We may have appeared selfish but we had no regrets doing so.

He was thrilled the whole time, especially when we blew him the Mickey's blow-out thingy.

He kept clapping his hands without anybody telling him to do so.

Mommy even managed to put on his Mickey hat which he used to refuse wearing.

When he grew tired from clapping, he tapped his high-chair tray as if it's a drum. He was really elated to be the center of everyone's attention.

Never expected him to be this happy as we thought he was too young to know it was his big day. We were overjoyed as much as he was.

I have to commend the hubby for deciding to have the party by ourselves. I'm sure it won't be the same if we have to entertain guests in between. We can do that when Gian is old enough to choose who he wants to invite and entertain them by himself.

Thanks and praises be to God for another memorable and meaningful page in the book of our family life. We are overwhelmed with gratefulness and happiness while celebrating Baby Gian's first wonder-full and blessed year.
