Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe

Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe | Changi Airport
We had a spur of the moment trip to Changi Airport on Gian's birthday last Monday. Since we had home-cooked food treats at home for his intimate 1st birthday celebration, hubby thought of eating out for dinner.
(Little trivia: Changi Airport is a popular shopping and dining destination in Singapore.)

Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe | Changi Airport
I spotted Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe next to Thai Express at Terminal 3. It's been 6 years ago since hubby and I ate at their East Coast branch so we decided to treat ourselves there for a gastronomic indulgence.

Twister Prawns | Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe
We had a complimentary plate of twister prawns as appetizer. It was an exclusive offer for Standard Chartered cardholders with a minimum purchase of $30.

Birthday Platter | Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe
And because it's Baby Gian's birthday, hubby signed up for membership to enjoy the complimentary birthday platter. It was a hit for our foodie family!

Peach Ice-blended | Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe
And this peach ice-blended complimentary welcome drink is sooooo good too. We all loved it!

Pork Chop 'n Fries | Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe
Kyla was supposed to have her usual chicken rice but hubby managed to convince her to give the pork chop a try. It was served with sunshine egg, baked beans, and fries. She said it was yummy!

XW Special Sauce Ribeye Steak | Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe
Hubby was craving for a steak (what's new? haha!) so the server recommended him the Xin Wang Special Sauce Ribeye Steak. It looks almost the same as Kyla's pork chop but the special sauce was sweet and sour.

Cheese Baked Rice with Black Pepper Beef | Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe
The beef and cheese lover me had cheese baked rice with black pepper beef. It was very FULLfilling!

XW Special Mango Snow Ice | Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe
We had the XW Special Mango Snow Ice for dessert. The snow-caped beauty was the biggest hit for my sweet toothie girl and hubby.

Street favourites of Hong Kong, Macau, Shanghai and Singapore take centrestage at Xin Wang Hong Kong CafĂ©. Boasting 200 items on the menu, diners can savour comfort food borne from simple recipes characteristic of the typical Hong Kong and Macau cafes, home recipes we grew up on, local Singapore favourites, tim sum and tea-time snacks. ~ www.xinwang.com.sg
