Mediterranean Cruise Deals: My Elusive Dream Honeymoon

Do you have a dream honeymoon? I do! I am still dreaming of Santorini until this very moment. But self-confessed wanderlust that I am, my dream doesn't stop in Santorini. I am slowly drifting to Mykonos. According to wikitravel, Mykonos, along with Santorini, is more expensive than other Greek islands. All thanks to mediterranean cruise deals, these costly Greek islands are made affordable and my dream honeymoon may not be that elusive anymore.

The beauty of Mykonos sunset is comparatively stunning as Santorini sunset. Wikitravel further describes Mykonos as a famed cosmopolitan destination and widely recognized as one of the great travel meccas. It is one of the most touristed island in the Aegean.

Mykonos Town (commonly known as Hora) in particular is described by Wikitravel as stunning picturesque Cycladic town with a maze of tiny streets and whitewashed step lanes, houses and churches, gathred around its harbour in the middle of a wide bay. It is one of the most cosmopolitan and crowded twon of the Aegean. Although the streets are lined with little shops, boutiques, art galleries, cafes, stylish bars and restaurants, Mykonos Town has not completely lost its identity. Despite the island's rapid growth and development, its traditional Cycladic architectural style and character has remained intact, thanks to the islands strict building regulations.

Furthermore, it is easy to explore Mykonos independently. According to Wikitravel, there's no need to book for guided excursions. What made me want to explore Mykonos next to Santorini is the accessibility of the two Greek islands of the Cyclade group. Apparently, Mykonos have daily boat connectionsfrom Naxos, Ios, Santorini and Crete.

Santorini will always be my dream honeymoon place but I would love to make a side trip to Mykonos if given the chance.
