Pepper Lunch (Suntec City)

It was one of those spur-of-the-moment night out with the family when we dined in at Pepper Lunch, Suntec City. In fact, it was hubby and K's birthday (Mid of August).

INTERIOR:

We reached the place around 8+ in the evening, hence this section is already closed and there are very few diners when we came. I love the interior here more than their Isettan Scotts branch which my colleagues and I frequently visit when we have long lunch breaks.

FOOD:

Since we already had simple dinner celebration at home, only K and I who normally like snacking after dinner decided to have take 2 dinner. K's pick of the day was Chicken Pepper Rice ($9.20) as expected but since she eats chicken all most of the time I recommended her the Salmon Pepper Rice ($9.90) for a change. Glad I did because she liked it. Sometimes, us parents just have to make an effort to introduce new foods to the kids to make them a little more adventurous. I added $2 for a set of drinks, miso soup and a choice of salad/mashed potato/ice cream. Obviously she picked the ice cream.

My pick was the Cheesy Omelette Curry Beef Rice (sorry I can't remember the price, this special meal is not included on Pepper Lunch regular menu).

Not really a fan of curried food but the cheese omelette tempted my cheese-loving taste buds. On top of that, beef never fails to make my tummy happy.

As I mentioned in my Aloha Ma Maison post, I am slightly health conscious when we eat out. I chose a healthy salad over mashedpo and icecream.

The hubby fed baby G miso soup with bean curd cubes which he loved so much! He kept grabbing the spoon from hubby when he fails to give him another serving. (Trivia: When baby G likes a certain food, he wants you to feed him non-stop.)

To distract him, hubby gave him a plastic chopstick to play with (Warning: Don't give chopsticks to a baby/toddler without close supervision.) and it worked.

That's K planting a kiss on my cheek for her pepperlicious treat. This girl always eats way tooooooo slow so I have to seat beside her and feed her like a baby. Since baby G was born, she loves being treated like a baby too at times which I really don't mind because I missed a lot of her babyhood.

  9. I have been to Pepper Lunch a few times. It is not a favorite go to place for me though. I just go there first because of curiosity and my next visits, for its ambiance. :)

  14. I remember my first Pepper Lunch experience was in Singapore back in 2010. :) Since then I fall in-love with their food, hehehe! When we moved here in Bkk, we stayed in a small hotel and we don't have kitchen then, so we always go to PL at least once a week for lunch or dinner. K is so sweet...:)
