The Most Popular Districts to Visit in Singapore

Singapore is one of the most culturally diverse and interesting cities in the world. There are so many fabulous places to visit and stay that you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing your specific accommodation. One of the first things you will want to look at are all the different areas and districts there are in the city which offer a range of different facilities and amenities where you may wish to use Singapore City leisure vouchers. The wide range of hotel accommodation that is offered throughout Singapore allows you to find the ideal location that suits your personal needs exactly. Here we will look at some of the most popular places to visit or live in the city.

Sentosa Island, Singapore
Sentosa Island – This former military fort is a brilliant place where you can really get away from it all and relax in a holiday atmosphere. Recently they have added a world class Resorts World Resort and Casino which has added a great deal of excitement to the area. This is a very luxurious island where you can find a great deal of relaxing activities including spas, beaches and golf courses. You will also find Universal Studios Theme Park and of course there is the casino definitely something for everyone.

Ion Orchard, Singapore
Orchard Road – This area is renowned for its high end luxury living and can offer a great deal in terms of high class shops and hotels. You can find a great range of online travel vouchers that relate to different hotels and activities in the area. Relatively near Orchard road you will find the Fullerton Hotel, the Ritz Carlton and the Marina Bay Sands Resort.

Riverside, Singapore
The Civic District – This area is the main colonial centre of the city and is also known as 'Riverside'. There is a great deal of night-life in this area and you will also find many places of cultural interest including statues, art and theatres.

Esplanade - Theatres by the Bay, Singapore
Marina Bay and Colonial Districts – Home to the world famous Raffles Hotel and City Hall, this district is one of the popular places for people to visit and experience the 'old Singapore' from colonial times. Very well located near the waterfront with easy access to malls, restaurants and tourist attractions.

Chinatown, Singapore
There are many culturally diverse areas around the city where there are concentrations of different influences. Chinatown and Little India are great places to go and experience some of the individual heritages of the countries and how they have come to settle in this city. These are fabulous areas to experience some of the traditional celebrations and holidays of the particular countries. If you choose to book your flights at certain times of the year then you are able to see the famed Lunar New Year festival (Chinese New Year), the Dragon Boat festival and the Indian Deepavali festival among many others. The diversity and cultural richness of this country allows you to fully gain an exciting and varied holiday for all the family.
