I started craving for California Maki after eating at Ajisen Ramen at Takashimaya with my colleague. They served it as a side dish to the seafood ramen that I ordered.
Last new year's eve, I bought ready to eat California Maki at Umi Sushi in our neighborhood mall, Eastpoint. It added colour and variety to my "all-round dinner" plan.
I wish to make California Maki from scratch next time. I found this very detailed and well illustrated California Roll recipe at justonecookbook.com that I'd love to try.
