Panoramic View of Taal Lake with the Taal Volcano from Tagaytay, Philippines |
Tagaytay is one of the Philippines' most popular tourist destination because of its breathtaking scenery and cooler climate provided by its high altitude.
Due to its close proximity in Manila - the city capital of the Philippines, Tagaytay was the first place we visited when we went back home during the Christmas holidays.
My initial plan was to check-in the whole family with my in-laws in one of the hotels particularly, Taal Vista but because of time constraint and er, limited budget (we just bought an HDB flat in Singapore that costs us a bomb), we only managed to hire a van and made a quick stop at Picnic Grove before heading to Island Cove and Leisure Park in Cavite (more on that in another blog entry, the hubby is just too busy to find our vacation photo files).
We failed to try the zipline and we also missed the boat ride to Taal Lake. We could have done everything we wish if only we stayed there for 2days and 1 night. A quick stop over is just so bitin. If you happen to visit Philippines and plan to explore Tagaytay, it is best to stay in a hotel overnight and savour the cool air and stunning views for at least two days.
you were blessed with gorgeous sky when you were there Che, when we were there, it was too foggy we could not even see the taal volcano and very little lake was seen at all.
