#ThrowbackThursday
It was our third and final day in Penang. We were supposed to visit Penang Hill but we found out from its website that the Penang Hill funicular railway is undergoing an overhaul. There was no way for us to explore the hill by foot as we were scheduled to fly back in Singapore in the afternoon so we decided to just stay in the hotel and explore the other side of Tanjung Bungah beach.
K requested to have another pool time so we let her be in one condition, take a rest first after eating breakfast. We hang around the beach bar and used the time for some photo opp.
Hubby and K. Their blissful sight never fails to melt my heart. Truly blessed having these two in my life.
Hubby and I. Hmmmn, we needed some lovey-dovey time. Hehe.
Then back to father and daughter tandem. Aren't they sweet?
K made sure she enjoyed the last few hours of our last day in the hotel. It's really awesome to be a child, don't you think so?
Took advantage of K's pool time to have some momME time. Thanks to the hubby a.k.a the king who volunteered to look after her, I was able to read Rick Warren's book that I brought along. It's the New York Times no. 1 best seller, The Purpose Driven Life. It's the king's rule never to leave K alone in the pool, at least I was at peace doing my thing.
After reading and some meditation, I went to explore the opposite side of Tanjung Bungah beach that we didn't get to explore on day 2 while K is still having a fabulous time in the pool with the hubby. This spectacular sight greeted me. Boy oh boy, how did we miss this paradise the previous day? I ran back to the pool and asked K to quickly abandon the pool as momMe found a great spot for family photo opp before leaving Penang. After all, she already had so much fun.
K gladly obliged after hearing the word paradise. Weeeeeeee, this is life in a beach paradise! Enjoy the rest of the photos! :)
