Before I introduce you the hearty breakfast meals offered by McDonald's, let me share you these myths and facts about eating breakfast and the recently concluded National Breakfast Day.
Myth no.1: It is okay to skip breakfast, it's not really important.
FACT: Breakfast is the most important meal of the day!
Myth no.2: Eating breakfast will make you feel tired during the day.
FACT: Breakfast will provide you all the energy you need to start the day right!
In relevance to building awareness on the importance of breakfast, on the 18th of March 2013, 121 McDonald's restaurants in Singapore participated in celebrating National Breakfast Day and gave away over 100,000 Egg McMuffins. It was meant to energise everyone's morning and give them the fuel to Get Up and Go.
In conjunction with the awesome National Breakfast Day initiative, McDonald's now offers heartilicious breakfast meals. Here it is as promised!
1) Strawberry and Hot Fudge Hotcakes
Complete with their new richer and bolder premium roast coffee, you can now enjoy fluffy hotcakes which is now available in two brand new toppings:
STRAWBERRY
and
HOT FUDGE
Aren't you drooling yet with this sweet indulgence? I find the hot fudge sooooo addicting! So good that it melts in your mouth oozing with chocolatey goodness. Strawberry on the other hand gives a twist to your normal maple syrup. It is available for only $5.50 (price not applicable at iFly and via McDelivery).
2) Chicken Muffin
The Chicken Muffin Breakfast Meal is available for only $4 (price not applicable at iFly and via McDelivery).
Savour a deliciously tender chicken crisped to perfection in a soft toasted muffin with cheese, best enjoyed with a golden hashbrown and again, their new richer and bolder premium roasted coffee. I particularly love this meal just like the rest of the food tasters. The chicken is crispy outside yet very juicy inside. The cheese made it even more heavenly to the cheese-lover me. Once you sink your teeth into it, you are hooked! Gotta try it to believe.
What are you waiting for? Get Up and Go and fuel up your day with McDonald's breakfast meals. The two heartilicious meals I mentioned are available in a limited period only so don't miss it!
Thank you so much McDonald's and omy.sg for the very filling breakfast session. My girl loved the complimentary food strap complete set. I can't wait to bring my family to eat breakfast at McDonald's!
It was a fun-filled morning with Sam and Stephanie of McDonald's, Janet of omy.sg and the rest of the bloggers! Till we meet, chat and eat again. :D
REMEMBER:
Breakfast is indeed the most important meal of the day! A hearty breakfast provides all the nutrients that sustains people the energy they need for the rest of the day. This is the very reason why the husband and I never skip breakfast and we always make sure that our kids eat breakfast before going to school. It has been proven that working moms and dads who eat breakfast before going to work tend to be more productive and children who eat breakfast perform better in school.
I believe you even without tasting but definitely I will need to taste the crispy outside, juicy inside thingy you described perfectly! weeee you are rocking media invite world eh twinzy! love your pretty face in the middle :) ...and yeah agree, breakfast is the most important meal of the day!
