Staycation at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel

Way back in 2006, hubby and I went through a lot so we decided to have a much needed staycation at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel at the end of the year. We checked in at the hotel on new year's eve.

The 2D-1N package that we booked includes complimentary afternoon tea buffet. 

We had the stunning view of the Singapore river

and the Singapore skyline.

After the tea buffet, we went back to our room to laze around

and take photos.

Our room was equipped with a king-sized bed

and elegant restroom with bathtub. 

At night, we went our for more photo opp around the hotel

plus wine and light dinner (also included in the package).

Afterwhich we took a walk along the Singapore river then went back to our room before midnight to catch the new year fireworks through our room's picture window.

1st day of 2007, we had our complimentary breakfast buffet at the Grand Ballroom.

The hubby quipped it felt like we are one day millionaires. LOL

This was our view while having our breakfast.

After breakfast, we checked out the hotel's bar 

and went for a morning walk at the Singapore river.
