Trip to Penang Island: Family Weekend Getaway

As promised, here's the summary of our trip to Penang, Malaysia.

Read about our very first family overseas trip to Malaysia in my blog post Penang Island Escapade. It was K's first trip out of Philippines and Singapore.

I featured Flamigo by the Beach Hotel where we stayed for 3D2N. The beach view from our room is a sight to behold. Click the link to see it for your self! 

We spent day 1 exploring the Kek Lok Si Temple also known as Temple of Supreme Bliss.

We spent part 1 of day 2 at Penang Butterfly Farm. Read my Penang Day2/Part1 blog entry HERE.

K had her much awaited pool time at the hotel after we came from Penang Butterfly Farm.

Hubby and I are able to convince her to explore the beach later part of the afternoon. Click here for my post on our day2 part2 of our Penang weekend getaway.

Our day 3 was supposed to be spent at Penang Hill but we ended up exploring the other side of Tanjong Bungah beach and found a paradise perfect for photo opp before we left Penang. Read the story about our day 3 here.
