Fashion Emergency: I need a Smart Casual Attire

Photo credit: I searched too many fashion blogs and forgot which site I got this. Sorry.
The superman is tagging me and my colleague for an Annual Appreciation Night hosted by another specialist centre that we work closely with. The theme is masquerade and the attire is smart casual slash fun. My wardrobe has always been boring. I am actually in the process of giving it a makeover for a change.

It's about time. I've been wearing the same clothes to work for about 7 years already. Please don't give me that surprise OMG-you-are-pathetic look. I am a self-proclaimed low maintenance wife, time to spend a little and reward myself for working hard. :P

In search of a smart casual attire, I have another excuse to go shopping, yipee! Praying hard the hubby will not read this otherwise my excitement will turn into disappointment. LOL. Oh just in case he does, fret not hubbylove I have saved enough money for a shopping galore. :D

So what's your idea of smart casual? Curious to what smart casual attire I came up with in the end? Click here.

  2. I'm also low maintenance but I do dress up to the occasion once in a while when the situation calls for it. Smart casuals can be anything from tailored trousers, silky or those flimsy blouses or shift dress where you can wear a soft cardigan with belt. Mix and match and play with fun colors especially it's spring.

  4. Smart casual is an outfit that is neither too dressed up nor too dressed down. It should exude simple elegance and comfort that reflects the real you.

  7. I am low maintenance wife as well as, that's why hubby loves me considering I know how to control myself not buying things that I don't need it. If you're wearing the same clothes at your work doesn't matter as long as you're happy and it doesn't bother you.
