I follow Ingrid Go of The Bag Hag Diaries on instagram mainly because extraordinary women inspire me a lot and besides, she's living my wanderlust dreams. The Bag Hag flies to Paris and London very frequently to cover fashion shows. I am not so much into high end fashion but The Bag Hag's photos of the Eiffel Tower and other stunning places in Europe make me want to be teleported right there and then.
Like any other hopeless romantic and travel aficionado, Paris is on my travel wish-list. I am greatly aware that travelling to Europe is expensive but as cliche as it may sound - if there's a will, there's REALLY a way. Hubby and I can start saving for a romantic trip to Paris, France now and by the time the children start living a life of their own we already have more than enough travel funds.
Having said that, we may even be able to afford paris luxury apartments for rent and live like millionaires for a few days. I know it sounds impractical but as I always tell the hubby, it is good to reward one's self once in a while. A well-deserved comfortable and romantic vacation will surely keep the fire of love burning between couples. I leave you to ponder with this travel quote I found on Pinterest:

I read the baghag's blog because I love bags. I just can't afford the bags she has.
ReplyDeleteMy family's been to Paris. It's true, it's expensive but there are multitudes of deals on the internet. I'm sure you'll be able cross the Paris off your travel list pretty soon :)
oh wow! good for you Josiet! will dig your Paris travel posts for reference. :)
Deletewhew, haha, gee in this lifetime I am glad there is internet so I could travel the world at least virtually...wishing everyday for a teleport...one of Roel's favorite things in his magical world :) yabyew! :D
ReplyDeleteThis is the first time I've heard of Bag Hag. I'm also a big fan of extraordinary women who make a great difference. I will check her Instagram now :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to travel abroad but sadly I'm not in the position to do so. But still I'm looking forward for it to happen, hopefully this year. :)
ReplyDeleteI wish I could go to Paris as well, I am sure that you can afford it sis so go for it!
ReplyDeletei never knew about bag hag diary, so i googled and checked her website, and loved her amanpulo shots in the philippines, i so love that place, when it was still not that expensive to stay in amanpulo then, now, hmmmm, i will probably skip aman....you will get to your dreams soon Che, in time....time flies, before you know it, you are in Paris.
ReplyDeleteFirst time to hear about this bag hag diary. But doing a virtual tour of great places like Paris is great.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip, I am also a wanderlust, I'll go check the bag hag girl :)
ReplyDeleteJust like with the rest of the readers and commenters here, I have also googled The Bag Hag. LOL. I am fascinated by her bag reviews and fashion adventures.
ReplyDeleteBy the way sis, just like you Paris is also on my bucket list. I wish I am that rich but just like what you said if there's a will there is a way. In God's perfect time, we will surely see that romantic place.
Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to travel outside the country but it doesn't mean I am less of a dreamer for dream destinations such as Paris.
ReplyDeleteI have instagram but seldom use it :-) Paris is one of my dream vacation and hope that my family can visit it someday :-) My brother-in-law is from France and am not sure how far he is from Paris :-) Renting an apartment can saves you money than staying in a hotel :-)
ReplyDeleteNot only rich people can go to Paris. I am not rich but I've been there. It just happened that I am living in a country near it. But it's surely a place to dream about. I can't forget the moment i first set my eyes on such lovely country. Just a tip, don't forget to study few French words. Not all people there can speak English. I admire your courage and determination to achieve your goal. Not long, you'll get there.
ReplyDeleteParis, oh Paris! This city of light is in my wanderlust dream too. Not long enough, I'll be there!
