The LG Optimus G Pro Has Arrived in Singapore

After the successful launch in South Korea, LG Optimus G Pro reached its one million sales mark and the great news is it is now available in Singapore!

When I first held the promising smartphone in my providential hands at the exclusive preview of The LG Optimus G Pro at Patisserie G last week, the first thing I tested was it's camera. If you are a regular reader of my blog, you know how addicted I am to photographs.

Was I impressed? Sure I was! This first 5.5 inch smartphone that adopts a Full HD IPS display delivers razor sharp images and wide viewing angles to bring about the most comfortable user experience.

Another impressive smart feature is the Picture-on-Picture Dual Camera and Recording. That's me and my big DLSR at the centre. The event is a single pax invite hence I don't have any assistant to take photos on my behalf. I held the LG Optimus G Pro on my left hand and took a photo of it with the DLSR camera using my right hand. Am I a wonderwoman or what? Haha! :D

FYI:
The Dual Camera and Dual Recording functions allow users to capture pictures and videos with both the front and rear cameras simultaneously. Users can now partake in the video during any special moments and capture all the wonderful expression made from both sides of the camera.

I also love the Tracking Focus. I am a mother of two hyperactive children so this feature will let me capture my kids' candid moments without worrying the photo outcome is blurred.

More Innovative Camera Features include:

• VR Panorama: This function allows the creation of seamless and picturesque 360 degrees view of scenic shots horizontally and vertically.
• Pause and Resume Recording: This feature allows recording of short snippets of videos which can then be viewed as one uninterrupted video, thereby reducing the time and effort taken to string the clips together to form a continuous running clip
• Beauty Shot: If you happen to be vain, I highly recommend you buy LG Optimus G Pro. When you take a #selfie shot using the beauty shot mode, you can instantly pass as an ambassador of a beauty product. I swear, I tried taking a #selfie and my face really looked so flawless.

Ok, I am done with the camera features. Let's take a look at another smart feature of the LG Optimus G Pro. Do you guys have difficulty in locating the remote control of your appliances at home? Fret not!

The LG Optimus G Pro comes with Smart Control features that include QuickRemote. It is the world's FIRST smartphone that is equipped with an all-in-one remote control. After registering your appliances into the Optimus G Pro, you can your electronic devices (yes, not just LG appliances but other brands of appliances too!) through infrared signal. The QuickRemote supports up to nine home electronics or appliances such as TVsets, set-up boxes, air conditioners, audio-visual equipments, projectors and blu-ray players from a variety of brands.

Another noteworthy Smart Control feature of the LG Optimus G Pro is the Smart Video. With advanced eye recognition technology, Smart Video recognizes the position of the viewer's eyes and automatically plays or stops the video without any manual input from the user. How cool can this smartphone get?

One more Smart Control feature is the QSlide 2.0. This feature allows users to overlay two different screens simultaneously on one display, allowing users to do two things at once, such as send text message or search the web while also watching video. Perfect for a multi-tasker working mom like me. :D

So, what else do I like about this smartphone?

My girl is a music lover and she will surely have fun making her own music videos with LG Optimus G Pro.

I am quite sure she will also enjoy listening to music with this Quadbeat Earphone. I tried it myself and the sound quality produced by the earphone was excellent.

This Notebook is also an added plus point. When my girl gets so bored during train rides, this will come in handy. She can create special notes with drawings, images, maps and stickers with it. Spells F-U-N.

My iPhone looks thicker with its case but basically they are almost of the same thickness, but the LG Optimus G Pro is a lot heavier.
