Above is the melody to Yankee Doodle, on the banjo without and with drone notes I found in Wikipedia. Who would have thought I'd become so interested with music? Don't get me wrong, I love music but the feeling was never mutual. In other words, music never liked me. Haha. So why the sudden interest to dig deeper about music, you may ask?
The answer is as simple as ABC. My kids' love for singing nursery rhymes and children's songs led me to search music stuff online. While searching about the six-stringed instrument, I found out that you can actually save on banjo strap at musicians friend. In case you know anyone who owns a banjo, please let them know. In the meantime, please excuse me. I am off to master the melody of Yankee Doodle with my boy.
