Fun with Animal Sounds

We got our boy a set of zoo animals and farm animals at a family thrift store. During the long Hari Raya/National Day weekend in August, I displayed them nicely in a shelf inside his playroom but I made sure it's reachable. Without a doubt, this little boy loves animals so much. He has an animal plush toy version and he carries his dog and squirrel along with him everywhere he goes.

Almost every night, bedtime scenario will be like this:

MomMe: The dog says...

Little Rabbit: woof woof

MomMe: The cat says...

Little Rabbit: meow

MomMe: The sheep says...

Little Rabbit: baaaaaa, baaaaaa

MomMe: The cow says...

Little Rabbit: mooooooo

MomMe: The bird says...

Little Rabbit: tweet, tweet

MomMe: The duck says,

Little Rabbit: quack, quack

MomMe: The frog says...

Little Rabbit: ribbit, ribbit

MomMe: The snake says...

Little Rabbit: hissssssssss

MomMe: The tiger says...

Little Rabbit: roooooar

And it goes on and on and on. At times, we do it the other way around.

Little Rabbit: The e-phant says...

MomMe: Huh? Daddy, help! What does the elephant say? LOL
