Activity Packed Weekend
We were fully-booked during the weekend. It started with Lady Iron Chef's Christmas Party at nydc last Friday night, where hubby and I, along with 14 more couples/friends get to sample nydc's Christmas menu. It felt surreal meeting the most popular food blogger in Singapore. If you are curious if he (yes, he is a male although he is called Lady Iron Chef) is friendly or a snob, tune in for my separate post about the party.
Saturday morning, I was invited to to try out a spinning class at Pilates Inc and was told to bring along the hubby and my girl. We had a great time "racing", "climbing" and sweating it up. Hubby and I almost couldn't keep up with our girl's energy but we enjoyed burning the calories we indulged at the party. It was gratifying to sweat the "big stuff" a.k.a. excessive calorie intake, literally. :D
After the spinning class, I had to rush in the clinic to attend to a patient for post op care. I tagged along the little rabbit with me and we went home in time for a much needed afternoon nap.
Sunday, we went for the Shoot for a Cause at Botanical Gardens. It was a tiring but very fulfilling day for us.
I had to cancel one media invite and another food tasting invite this week because I was overwhelmed by our busyness over the weekend. Needless to say, balance is the key to a happy and stress-free life. :D
