Shoot for a Cause

I learned about Soul Deelight's Shoot for a Cause from Pat's blog entry, HOPE IS THE THING WITH FEATHERS. I hurriedly emailed Dee to reserve a slot for our most awaited Christmas family photo shoot. I've said it many times but indeed, good thing comes to those who wait. I have been meaning to engage a professional photographer for a family photo shoot but I couldn't find one that matches my budget (i am a certified cheap-o remember?).

Dee has responded to my email and I already have the slot reserved on the 24th of November. I also received a good news from Dee today that the photographer's fee will be doubled by the MNC she's working with. That means if you book a 30-minute session for $50, $100 will be donated to typhoon Yolanda victims. This proves that there is HOPE after every storm and unconditional for our countrymen is abundant.

I commend Dee and her team for coming up with this inspiring idea. It is heartwarming to know that there are many living heroes and angels in this world.
