ReplyDeleteluckily my two sons never had any problems with math, both of them are skilled in numbers :)

ReplyDeleteI needed a Math tutor :) I had my bestfriend in grade school as math tutor :) We ended up us bestfriends still and he ended up as a Math teacher hehehehe...

ReplyDeleteI could have used a Math tutor back in highschool! LOL! I totally am not good with numbers and I agree that kids will need Math tutors especially if their parents are not familiar with it anymore. I remember one time I asked my mom to teach me how to solve a problem and she said she's forgotten about it already. LOL.

ReplyDeleteIt is true, Math and Science are those two hard subject for students, they struggle to understand such confusion formula and such..

ReplyDeleteOh... Math how I love thee!!!! (LOL). Not really. I needed a tutor myself. That's why one of the qualities in a man that was marriage material for me was someone who knows his Math so well. I got one, he's a whiz. It would have been a disaster to have kids from parents who are both 'in love' (the opposite, of course) with Math. :-)

ReplyDeleteI have learned that Singaporeans are very good with Math and I bet anyone who enrols in this will surely excel. I have a school-age child so hopefully, I won't have to hire a Maths tutor someday.

ReplyDeletemy daughter's italian friends back in singapore has their own tutor as well. just thinking i never come across any tuition here in malaysia.

ReplyDeleteI struggle my Math when I went in school. If ever my daughter need assistance I would enroll her in Math tutor so she can understand and love the Math subject.

ReplyDeleteback here again Che, indeed, even if the child is already very good in Math, it won't hurt to enroll the child in Math's tuition for more advanced classes or courses in Math, it pays to be good in Math :)

ReplyDeleteMy daughter loves Math and my son is the opposite although he is also good at it. He just don't have the patience to sit and think..

ReplyDeleteNeed math tutor? Hire me, lol! It was my major subject in college. It's been a while since college days though and I need a refresher.

ReplyDeleteI have learned from my husband that students from Singapore are leading in Math tests around the world. I think Math tuition classes are the reason why it is so. The US Department of Education should also make this a priority. I am no good in Math, but having a Math Professor husband, I am assured that our daughters will have no problem in learning it.

ReplyDeleteSince I don't like Match I have my eldest daughter enrolled for advance tutorial in Math and so I don't have a problem now.

ReplyDeleteMathematical skills are really indispensable in school and in everyday life.
