Spuds & Aprons: Valentine's Day Menu

Do you remember our anniversary celebration at Mount Faber on October of last year? We really enjoyed our dinner at Spuds & Aprons on that night. The lovely ambience, spectacular harbour views, delectable food and of course, great company made our anniversary date very memorable. We made it a habit to visit Mount Faber every October to commemorate our wedding dinner at The Glass Bar when we got married.

Now that St Valentine's Day is fast approaching, we are considering to dine again at Spuds & Aprons. As I mentioned in my previous entries, The Glass Bar was replaced by Black Opal and Black Opal was replaced by Spuds & Aprons, where apparently you come hungry and leave happy. Just too bad the last time we were there, we came with full stomach. We still left happy nonetheless as we really enjoyed our light dinner.

Great news for all the lovebirds in Singapore! Spuds & Aprons came up with a mouthwatering Valentine's Day Menu. The self-appointed Love Fairy of SPRG sent me the photos and menu descriptions to share here at Sweet Memoirs.

Here it is!

APPETIZER: Trilogy of Salmon

Citrus Confit Salmon with Passionfruit Espuma, Smoked Salmon Tartar with Cucumber, and Salmon Belly Spring Roll with Wasabi Mayo

The salmon lover in me is drooling with the sight of this salmon trio. The plating is mind-boggling! If there is one art I tend to rave about, it is definitely food art. Haha! Too obvious I am a foodie, eh?

SOUP: Double-Boiled Silk-hen Soup with Cordyceps

MAIN COURSE: Slow Roasted Black Angus Fillet

This main dish comes with oxtail ravioli, baby carrot, baby spinach and jus franche.

This dish is a like a crunchy and juicy red apple in my eyes. Staring at the beautifully plated dish is turning my eye-shape into a heart.

Other option for the main course is the Pan-Seared XO Spiced Black Cod. Perfect for fish lovers and those who cannot eat beef. The dish comes with potato croquette, lotus roots, okra, gingko nuts, and semi-dried tomato pesto.

DESSERT: Luscious Opalys Chocolate Avocado Cake

This heavenly dessert comes with red wine grapes and drizzled with cinnamon chocolate sauce.

Avocado cake, are you kidding me? Oh am geeeeee! The avocado lover in me is salivating to the max right now.

My thought bubble reads:

Dear Hubbylove,
Please book us a table at Spuds & Aprons for our Valentine's Day dinner date.
Love,
Wifeylove

Can any of my readers please send this blog entry's link to my husband now? LOL

Okay, before I get too carried away...

Choices of DRINKS are:
Freshly Brewed Coffee
Selection of Tea
Mignardises

Price points: $220++ per couple

Sometimes, it pays to indulge once in a while. At Spuds & Aprons, you are not paying just for the food. The romantic atmosphere and stunning views from Mount Faber are worth your $$$. :D

Have a delightful, romantic and scrumptious Valentine lunch or dinner date at Spuds & Aprons!
