5 Types of Footwear Every Woman Should Buy
Do you know the saying, "Shoes are every girl's bestfriend"? Oh well, I couldn't agree more. Although I am not a shoe hoarder myself, I have a lot of friends who loves collecting shoes. I can't blame them because nice high heeled shoes make them feel good about themselves and admittedly, it makes those who aren't gifted with good height look tall and oh-so-sexy.
In my limited and unpublished fashion book, here are 5 types of footwear every woman should invest on:
1. Foldable Leather Ballet Flats
Leather ballet flats that can be folded are so comfortable to wear and convenient to carry anywhere you go. It is best worn when you travel or basically when you are required to walk and walk and walk. It also serves as pain reliever after partying or commuting in your high heels. What's so good about it is that it is lightweight, comfy and it normally comes with a convertible pouch which you can re-use for other purposes.
2. Nude Pumps
I learned from one of my fashion icons, lifestyle blogger Daphne Osena Paez that pumps in natural colour like the Nine West basic pumps is a must have. Apparently, nude pumps can save you from last minute fashion emergencies as it is guaranteed to compliment your outfit no matter what colour it is. One common advise from people in the fashion industry is, "when in doubt, wear nude pumps".
3. Strappy Black Sandals
If there is a footwear that you can basically wear anywhere and anytime of the day, it has to be a versatile black strappy sandals . It can go very well with maxi dress, skirt, jeans, shorts and even skorts. What's good about it is that it can match any colour too. It is perfect for a stylish casual look.
4. Jelly Sandals/Flats
What I love about jelly flats or sandals is its ability to keep you look stylish and fashionable even during a rainy night in the city or a sunny day in the beach. You will never worry about it getting wet or getting subjected under the harsh sun rays. Nowadays, jelly sandals and flats comes in ultra stylish designs and it is so much fun, fashionable and comfortable to wear.
5. Running Shoes
If you don't own a running shoes, I highly recommend you to buy one. Running shoes, as its name implies is very good for running around the park when you need to get a good dose of exercise. Make sure to buy a quality running shoes to prevent you from hurting your feet. Poorly designed running shoes will do more harm than good while doing your exercise regime.
Cheers to a happy and pretty feet! Happy shopping!

ReplyDeleteI love shoes, I think most women do. Hubby said I have more shoes than I can wear, lol! I think most women have these 5 types of footwear are in their collections.
ReplyDeleteI love shoes, too! I agree, those are a must-have for every woman!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a shoe lover. It's the least that I buy. But if you'll say bags, oh la la!
ReplyDeleteI just have a few decent ones that I wear for work, some boots for winter and flats for my day-to-day activities.
I buy shoes based on comfort and design. I'm 100% fitflop girl, bought almost 12 pairs already. lol
ReplyDeleteThanks for the information, while i was in the warm country i used to wear the flat shoes, different types of sandals and never ever imagine that i'll be wearing boots, however colder weather requires warmer shoes so i've been boots more often now as it helps keep my feet warm during freezing temperature.
ReplyDeletei have all the shoes mentioned above, i am fond of buying and collecting shoes aside from bags hehe, but i love to wear sandals all the time due to the comfort it brings to my feet :)
ReplyDeleteSadly, I can't wear all in the list above that involves long walks and longer period of standing without suffering. I only wear running shoes when I go for run but I don't attempt to use it for long walks. I did try all of them and still have most of them except jelly flats like crocs and fit flops since I got an almost very serious injury from it :(
ReplyDeleteThough not very comfortable, but my favorite in the list is ballet flats since as what you mentioned, can easily be folded and be carried.
I'm guilty, I'm one of those but I'm just glad I'm not alone in my addiction :-)
ReplyDeleteAs of now I am more in flats shoes. It is hard to wear heels once you have a toddler.
ReplyDeletesandals with straps are my favorites these days! and yep running shoes....and okay flats when I am doing my photowalks sort of hehe, beautifully written yabyew :) dropping by here thru fbf ehehehe :)
ReplyDeleteI like wedge shoes but I seldom go out for an occasional parties so I have only 3 pairs. I wear sandals or fashionable slippers when I go malling.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what jelly sandals are lol. Nude pumps, I don't think it would be cmfortable for my wide feet!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, I'm a real woman since I have all those LOL. My favorite are running shoes and flats.
ReplyDeleteI like the sandals and the running shoes but I call it sneakers :-) They are both comfortable to wear
ReplyDelete:-)
I love shoes myself! I have at least one of all those types of shoes you mentioned. And then more! LOL.
