In this modern day and age which my hubby likes to refer to as iPad generation, shopping online is the most convenient way to shop almost anything and everything from ready-to-wear clothes, fashion accessories, gadgets, appliances, home decorations and even furniture. As a full time working mom, I have to admit that online shopping is now a "way of life" so I might as well share you some tips to guide and protect you while you shop till your credit card give up.

And while doing so, make sure you have anti-malware software installed, have your PC security settings optimized and use a strong password. It is also advisable to clear your browsing history every after online purchase. It is always best to play safe now than be sorry later.

2) Buy ONLY from reputable retailers.
Beware of scams and "too good to be true" offers when you shop online. For your own good, choose to shop only from sellers/vendors/retailers that already have established good reputation and set good records in the online shopping industry. There are many cases nowadays where people never get the goods they paid for.

    I am guilty of shopping online a lot. In fact, I buy my daughter's clothes online. I do it of course in my personal computer, which has an updated firewall.

    i did some shopping online then, but for some reason I've stopped. Back then, I wasn't aware that using private computer is a must. Because there were times I used other borrowed gadgets although not at the time of my actual purchase. Anyway, Now i know. Thanks
