5 Things We Love About Sea Sun Sand Resort

I discovered Sea Sun Sand Resort when I chanced upon a Groupon travel deal. My family tremendously enjoyed our stay there last year. Here are 5 things we love about the resort:

1) The beautiful outdoor swimming pool. It is aggrandized by sun loungers, Jacuzzi and gorgeous panoramic view of Patong Bay.

2) It is just a short stroll away from Patong Beach, which is one of the liveliest sandy beach in Phuket Island. The beach is perfect for parasailing, sunset watching, barefoot walking, jet skiing, sea shell picking, releasing of wishing lanterns or simply chillaxing.

3) Close proximity to cafes/restaurants/small eateries/street food stalls that serve authentic, cheap and delectable local food. There isn't a need to ride a tuktuk (Thai taxi) and spend a fortune just to have a Thai gastronomic indulgence.

4) The viewing deck. If you are too tired to take a walk to the beach to watch sunset, you can opt to stay at the viewing deck and soak your eyes in a stunning sunset view while sipping a cocktail from the Sunset Pool Bar just next to it.

5) The resort is eco-friendly.  It is surrounded by lush greenery and guests are offered eco-friendly options like re-using of towels and bed linens.

Plus points:
  • free Wi-Fi and daily buffet complimentary breakfast with refreshing sea view
  • availability of tour desk, Thai cooking class, reading corner, fitness room and games room.
  • relaxing spa facility
  • free shuttle service to Jungceylon Shopping Centre
Overall, I can say that the resort is a good choice for a stress-free beach vacation ideal for couples and families unless 5* service and amenities are a must for you. Read my full feature and review of the resort here.

  3. You captured such an awesome looking sunset, Cherry. When we were in Patong, we stayed in the Holiday Inn which was just across Patong beach and we loved it's convenient location too. http://ajugglingmom.com/phuket-beach/
