Conrad Centennial Hotel swimming pool with the Singapore Flyer in the background |
The recently concluded Mother's Day was nothing short of awesome. The hubby gifted me with a
weekend staycation at Conrad Centennial Hotel and I had one of the best times of my life as a mom.

Mother's Day handmade cards and flower from the hubby and the kids |
The kids made cards for me. I may not be the best mom in the world but my kids think I am and that's what matters most.

Hokkaido Cheesecake and white roses taken from our hotel room window |
The hubby bought my favourite Hokkaido Cheesecake with 100% Hokkaido milk from Ichiban Boshi. He also gave me 3 stalks of white roses. The other stalk is from the kids, their dad bought it for them to give it to me along with their handmade cards. White roses because a mother's love is one of the purest, hubby reasoned. I was over the moon!

Being kissed by my God-given angels on Mother's Day |
Being a mom is a privilege I am most grateful for. I can't imagine life without these two God-given angels of mine.
 |
With my first baby |
On the actual day of Mother's Day, my first born handed me another handmade card with handwritten note. She made me teary-eyed from overwhelming joy.
 |
My hyperactive toddler fell asleep on my chest |
My boy on the other hand fell asleep on my chest which happens rarely since he entered toddler-hood. I couldn't be happier that he chose to do so on Mother's Day. Watching him sleep peacefully in my arms is one of my favourite things to do. It makes my heart swell with gratitude.

With my hubby |
A mere thank you isn't enough to express how grateful I am to the hubby for spoiling me. I love this man who annoys me a lot but treats me like a queen on special occasions.
The loveliest masterpiece of the heart of God is the love of a mother. ~ St Therese of Lisieux

Hi Cherry! Oh my gosh you look so young, I totally didn't expect you to have such a big girl already! Talking about Mother's Day, I am really itching for a cake and flowers, but I have a feeling my hubby will probably not think about getting me those. I need to think of ways to drop some hints!!
