Fri-date at Nana's Green Tea

It's been a while since I last blogged about food! Too many things to blog about, too little time. Nevertheless, I am too blessed to complain so I shall retract that statement. Haha!

Been constantly dating my girl on Fridays in the past 5 or 6 consecutive weeks since last Friday where we finally managed to eat at Tim Ho Wan (more on that in another post of course when I find time to blog about food again). Today, I would like to share with you our food adventure at Nana's Green Tea which is located right across Skinny Pizza at Plaza Singapura.

K is into anything Japanese, so imagine her delight when I told her we are trying a Japanese restaurant that we've never been to before. She picked this Chicken Cutlet Curry from Nana's Green Tea menu - it is a generous serving of Japanese curry served over warm millet rice with chicken cutlet. The fact that she finished it all means it is quite yummy.

She also ordered this Wakame Tamago Udon - fresh seaweed and poached egg served over warm udon noodles in soup, garnished with spring onion and sesame seed. She has quite an appetite huh? That is only when she loves the food! The udon made us both miss G who is an avid fan of udon.

This is the only thing I ate which is very filling and satisfying! Salmon and Cheese Sushi Roll - salmon, cream cheese, avocado, cucumber wrapped with millet rice and nori with dash of sesame seed, spring onion and topped with Wasabi mayonnaise. I devoured these all by myself because K was already too full from eating the curry and udon. Diet? What diet? LOL

Till next time, Nana's Green Tea! We enjoyed our food so much that we promise we will be back again after trying out more restaurants we've never tried before in Singapore.
