Z'en Japanese Cuisine: 12-Course Hokkaido Menu

Two days before his actual birthday, I treated the hubby to a Japanese cuisine indulgence at Z'en Japanese Restaurant. The special Groupon menu is a 12-Course Premium Hokkaido Experience Set Meal. I have availed of another 12-course meal from the same restaurant before which my friend and I enjoyed tremendously. Apart from the delectable food, Z'en also offers great ambiance and consistent good service.

Here's what hubby and I devoured to celebrate his 1st birthday. Nope, that's not a typo error. They say life begins at 40 right? 41 - 40 = 1, get it? LOL

• Queen Crab and Tofu with Japanese Sesame Dressing
• Hotate, Salmon and Kanpachi Sashimi
• Assorted Sushi
• Angel Prawn and Queen Crab Japanese Salad

• Baked Oyster with Mentaiko and Cheese

• Shirley Temple (lime juice, ginger ale, grenadine syrup)

• Molten Chocolate Lava with Vanilla Icecream 

I surprised the hubby with this and he was extremely delighted. He made a wish and blew the candle. Mission accomplished!

Note: Drinks and the molten lava cake is not included in the Groupon Menu. The assorted sushi is counted as 4-course.
