Brought by award-winning Gardens by the Bay, the great minds behind its massive success have flown in sakura blooms from Japan. Named "Blossom Beats" is its latest experimental floral display. Styled after a traditional Japanese garden, Blossom Beats featured 20 varieties of cherry and peach blossoms surrounded by quintessential Japanese elements such as tori gate, a bridge, Japanese screens and Kimono.
Sakura Blooms: A Glimpse of Japan in Singapore
It has always been my dream to see Cherry blossoms in real life as I have this childhood fantasy that I was named after those pretty and exquisite blooms. Yes, fantasy is the most apt word because heck, I can't even hold a candle on how beautiful this God's creation is! I metaphorically died and went to sakura heaven when K and I decided to check out the sakura floral display dubbed as Blossom Beats at Gardens by the Bay's Flower Dome. Enjoy the countless photos I was able to take despite the overwhelming crowd last Thursday.
